This advertising agency’s vibrant Tempe office overlooks Mill Avenue in downtown Tempe and desired the environment indicative of “Urban Life on Mill.” To achieve this energy in the space we exposed many of the buildings structural surfaces and kept our palette neutral and raw with punches of color. In order to fully incorporate the busy Mill Avenue outside the office and conference rooms have glass fronts so all of the spaces have a connection with the energy outside.

Furniture that was easily moved and a highly collaborative space with conference rooms that have drapery for walls kept the framework flexible for multiple uses. A large Café or “All Hands” meeting space that people used as a place to eat, work, collaborate, project, or have a full company meeting was a lucrative solution; expansion space in the future.

The ceilings in this space were extremely low so we left them open to the structure and rather than bringing in trunk lines of ductwork we used individual HVAC units that were only 4’x4’ in footprint and had a low profile, essentially eliminating the need for ductwork.
